Would you happen to have a upper grille brace for a 1941 pickup with a 6 cylinder hood the hood latch on hood is right at the nose thanks steve

Nope, clean out....thats a tough one to get, the other option is to buy a '40 and move the latch bar forward....

Thanks just put the hood back on truck after 20 years being apart. Got the kids raised house paid off time for dad to have some toys.i drove this truck in high school 1979 as a stocker decided to put sbc in set the frame upfor it .now wish i had the flathead back.had a v8 when in high school so never gave a thought about 6 cylinder hoods now the hoods been sodablasted and epoxy primered, installed on truck went to line up inner fenders upper grille brace from drake and of course does not work someone else must have had this problem what works? If i can not find the right upper brace my next plan is to modify the 40 brace to accept the latch, cover with shroud to hid my modifacation. I am building a driver not show. Any advice ,pictures of what has worked for you would be appreciated. Thanks steve

Steve, I converted my hood using the T plate from a 40 STD passenger car. Think I had to drill new holes and add some flange to lip of hood. RPM
