Default Slip plate coating springs...

Took advantage of the 40 plus degree new years day and started some painting and coating of the front and rear springs from T springs in W Hartford CT.

Coating and drying on the front springs made easy using a few punches in two vises. The larger rear spring needing 3/8' rod to hold. Pictured bottom leaf and 8 more to go.

Last picture is the dried coating on the front springs and ready for re-assembly. Any one having this as a winter project I got the slip plate from the local NAPA, about $25.00 for the quart
