Default round track racing in Hawaii

I saw some pics of sportsman cars (32-40) racing in Hawaii. One car was a good looking 34 5W with a modified 59AB. I lived over there in the early 60's and never heard of any racing like that. The pics I saw appeared to be in a later time from the colors and so on. They were in a car museum close to Burnsville. Anyone know about that track in Honolulu?
