40 deluxe convertible is the most valuable of the fat fendered 35-48 and 32-34 roadsters are the most valuable of non fat fendered that's because they are the best looking.Having said that the woodys are even more valuable go figure.38 deluxe and 39 standard are the worst.

After 15 years of work, I'm partial to the '41 Business Coupe. Just my opinion.

This is just too hard of a question to answer for me. I have thought about it and came up with 1938 as the ugliest but there are too many great lookers for me to pick the prettiest.

There is, really, no "ugliest" flathead Ford !
I did see a picture of a VERY, VERY rusted 1933 roadster on here one time. It might qualify.

Mike, there is one very butt-ugly Early Ford, I'm sure everyone will agree:

The 1941 prototype Soybean Ford!

The curves on a 38 coupe are the top for me. Fender skirts make it even better.

The top choice for me would be a early 33 roadster or deluxe coupe

Agreed!

Next best thing to a one horse sleigh with jingle bells. Love it.

IMHO - Least favorite is the 38 Deluxe "seagull bird beak hood", followed by the 39 standard.
Finally!! someone that agrees with me! The 38 standard is one of the best looking fat fender cars in my opinion but seams to get the most criticism. I think the standard should have been the Deluxe model!

Felix and 3738, I like the 1938 Standard too. 1937, 1938 and 1939 are my favorites. I just can't get into the 1940 De Luxe with the "tacked on" front grill and headlights. The 1939 De Luxe Coupe is tops with its smooth styling, stick shift, Banjo Steering Wheel, pop out windshield and wide five wheels.

I also like the '38 Standard, several years ago I saw a '38 Convertible Club Coupe that had a '38 Standard front clip on it (I don't know if Ford built the Convertible Club Coupe in a Standard trim, don’t think they did) but it sure was a good looking car...

Vic, 1934 was the last year that Ford offered a Standard Open model.
