Help...need a pic Victoria rear window opening
Found a 31 Victoria letherback that I'am looking at. There is no leather on the top at this time and the area around the rear window looks like some sheet metal might have been cut out, But I just don't know never seen one without the top installed
Just wondering if anyone has any pic's of there leatherbacks back window area "pre leather" thanks Phil |

Phil, that is correct. There is considerably more wood in the Leatherback version of the Victoria than the later Steelback. I invite you to check out the Victoria Association, www.VictoriaAssociation.com. Vern

The Victoria Associations newsletter, The Bustle has had several articles with photos of the Leather-Back back window. It is considerably different than the back window in the Steel-Back, not only the wood framing differs, but so too does the size of glass (bigger). Joining the association enables you to contact owner's of Leather-Backs undergoing restoration, and hopefully one will take pictures for you. The Ford Service Bulletin for December 1930 has photos of the exterior and interior of the Leather-Back's rear window. I highly recommend the full size set of Ford Service Bulletins because the pictures are bigger than other reprints, so you can see more details. MARC reprinted the full size set back in 1997, and you may be able to get a set from a Model A parts dealer. Keep us posted with your progress.
