Good stuff! Loved the sound. I didn't think they'd ever get the race started though....

Great video! Those cars sure look nice and shiny (they all do BEFORE the race). I've run my vintage modified on asphalt a couple of times, but I prefer dirt tracks. I had the proper asphalt tires, but the fact that the car was initially built to run on dirt probably has a lot to do with it. On the chance that some of you may want to see the car, here's a picture. Sorry about the blasphemous engine, but at least it has the plugs in the center of the heads.

Got the best Dirt track in all of Oregon in my town [Lebanon] , but they don't run the vintage. Keep thinking of the rusty cpe in the woods though. Newc

Brendan, That was sooo cool. Thanks for alerting us. Our man sure seemed to have a little more pull on the straights, eh? Flatheads Forever!

Thank you Brenden.
I forgot how much I miss that. Allot of differences since 1960.

Thumbs up Re: Go fast turn left

Watched it with headphones on volume up for a better effect. I kept leaning to the left with my right foot hard on the floor, seriously! Great video. Bill
