Spark Plug Choice Flathead
I'm running a flathead 8BA with aluminum Edelbrock heads. I am wondering what sparkplug might be the best choice for this set up. I[ve been told that the champion #271RC12YC would work but Im also running an Isky Max 1 cam and dual Stromberg 97s. Any input? Thanks.

Re: Spark Plug Choice Flathead
I was told by Jim @ Reds Headers to use NGK-FR4GP with my Edelbrock heads.I believe that they are an extended reach plug due to the thickness of the head

Re: Spark Plug Choice Flathead
Here is the thread about spark plugs for Offy heads (which should be similar to the Edelbrocks). In that case, I use Autolite 437's.

I also use Autolite 437's in the Offy heads on our '47 and Autolite 216's on the stock heads.
