Default Rattle/hood alignment help needed

Hi guys
Hope someone can help me out. After chasing a rattle around on the pickup for quite awhile, I finally narrowed it down to the hood on the passengers side. I've replaced the hood rods on both sides and took it out for a ride today and still have a rattle. I noticed that the hood is not really lined up on the passenger side (see attached photos) as it is on the driver's side. However the hood is lined up in the front by the radiator? Can anyone tell me how to line the hood up and hopefully get rid of the rattle? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Scott

It may be a frame sag on that side. You could try one or more rubber washers that is used under the cowl at the attaching point where it bolts to the frame to raise it a bit. Just a thought.

Hi Scott, there should be enough clearance to move the rear pivot bracket slightly toward the drivers sideto make the gaps more even. I raised that center pivot slightly on mine by putting a 1/16 piece of rubber under it thus raising the center pivot also you can increase the bend radius on the right section by folding and pressing with your hands

When you say the center pivot bracket, I assume you mean on the center hood post that runs down the center of the hood?

I mean the bracket that hold the center pivot rod to the rear of the hood. It mounts to the cowl with floating nuts. I think the screws are 12/24 oval flat heads.
