Default another motor .

i just picked up an AA motor #AA4467774 and it's transmission attached.
no carburetor, starter or generator.
i'm thinking that i could use those from the '29's A922804 motor since it's beyond repair.
will i run into any obstacles ?
i think i'll hold onto the clutch assembly and flywheel housing but the transmission will be sold. maybe i should clean that up first.

i'm aware of some advances in that short time but what if ? is there any issue with the compatibility of those components ?

While Model A's had many updates thru the years, all will interchange into any A car or AA truck. The AA has a stiffer clutch, I would use the A clutch. The other items will work fine. The later block is stronger in several areas, not critical but good to have.
