So the wiper motor goes on the outside of this car, the windshield frame is chrome, the wiper should be chrome also.

I am using a non-chrome one for now, as have not found nice chrome one for a reasonable price. My question, is was there a gasket between the external wiper motor and the chrome frame or direct bolt?

no gasket. direct to the frame, just like a coupe or tudor and a lot of other Model A`s

Searching for a 1930 Windshield Wiper motor and blade. I have a Cabriolet and when I replaced the windshield, I was not aware that they were chrome so, mine is painted black. There are no holes in it either YET. So, I need the right motor and need to learn also what system is best, electric or vacuum. Thanks.
