1930 Cabriolet window slide bar
Folding windshield slide bar, not window.
Can someone please tell me where the metal spring part goes? What is the right order, I just do not see this in my books. I think one end closest to the inside is just the metal washer with rubber insert and the big knurled knob on top of the slide direct to the door jamb. If that is OK then I need to know how to install the other end. It may be spring then metal slide then special little bolt that screws into the 12x24 end of the pin on the windshield. Of course I may be wrong on both. LOL. Thanks

Parts catalogs may have an exploded view, showing the correct order of the parts.

Re: 1930 Cabriolet window slide bar
I believe the spring in question is a thin washer made of spring steel.
