I have been in the position of having too make the decision to hold an event, or switch to the rain date. I know how tough it is to make that call (and how you always disappoint half the group).

I would like to say thanks to the folks a Beardsley's for shouldering that weight. I will be there on Sunday and will hope for better weather next year.

This is still my favorite event all year!

Dan,
Thanks for making the tough call, which I think was the correct one. It's going to be great day and I look forward to meeting you and the other Barners on Sunday.

Earlier today I came home from work and the answering machine was blinking.

It was a personal phone call from Cider Mill saying the meet was on for Sunday. Thank you for the personal "touch".
If it starts I should be there.

I am happy to attend no matter what day it is held. Just want to thank Dan for hosting us. Bring your family and your Mom and stop by for a great view of history that she will enjoy. Keep in mind no one can control the weather.Dan puts this show on for free and is a great host.
I am all set for the trip from Bridgehampton NY located in eastern Long Island to the Port Jefferson/ Bridgeport ferry and the trip from Bridgeport to Shelton. It will be a great day and hope to see many Ford Barners! Ahoooooga!

Thank you all for another great show this year. Thank you also to Lenny for calling everyone he had a phone no or email address for.

If anyone would like to have an email confirmation of date/time for next year, please email me at [email protected]

PS, to the guy selling the Model T truck, a buyer came back with cash in hand 10 minutes after you left. He said he gave you his phone no. so pls call him if you still want to sell the truck!
Sincerely, Dan Beardsley

Cider Mill photos 2014; poor camera, and cars and trucks that cought my eye. There were a lot of nice looking cars, and it sure was nice to put faces on the Ford Barn people that I got to meet. Bob

I had a great day at the show. I would like to thank Dan and Lenny for all of ther generosity and dedication (phone calls etc.) to put this wonderful event together. Dan it was worth the wait of a day that turned out to be a Chamber of Commerce post card day as far as the weather goes. It was great to attend for the second year and all of the personal touches such as Dan offering food and his farm to Lenny for telling me a better way home toward the Bridgeport ferry, other than using major highways, to speaking with so many of the participants who always seem to impart so much information if you are looking for a part for your car or solving a problem with it. For all of you who have fond thoughts of your Mother or are lucky enough to still have her with you, I say Happy Mothers day.

Thanks Dan

See you next year!

Unfortunately my A which hadn't been run since last July decided to overheat on the way down and I ended up going modern, Great turnout and a great day. Thanks again to Dan for a great show.
Met several Barners and had many good talks.
