Did any 24 stud blocks with 3 &3/16 bore have just a large letter 5 on top of
Bell housing

Rick: Info from Van Pelts website, maybe the 9 didn’t get stamped for some reason, can you use the pictures to ID the block?

The large raised numbers are part of the sand casting process and I suspect that it is a defective casting,
It could probably have been just as well the number 9 that was left after the 5 was wiped off the sand mold.
