I am building one out of old left over parts from previous restorations, thought I had to replace everything back in the day but luckily didn't throw anything away. Going to run it off road to cut fire wood. So I have found that I have a lot of good serviceable parts that don't look good at a show and they all fit!

It has been only a few months since I put a ute together out of bits and pieces I had laying around. It is my favourite A to drive. I get waves and toots aplenty (and laughs). All up, it cost me about as much as a litre of milk.

I am waiting for my interior kit to arrive. Probably just as well. Working from home is already distracting. Imagine all the work I wouldn't get done if I was out in the shop rather than at my computer.

Once you free yourself from the drive for perfection you enjoy the work and the car more.Im going back and forth on the next build, either a gravity dump body scaled to A size or a full on camping and fishing rig..right now camping and fishing is in the lead.
