No Running Lights
My running lights on my 1950 F1 Ford Truck stopped working. The headlights, turn signals and brake lights work.
Is this a switch problem? |

Re: No Running Lights
If you have original wiring, could be a broken connection, short, or poor ground. I would use a volt meter to check for power to trace down the problem.
Good luck. |

Re: No Running Lights
Running lights or park lights? Park lights are only on when the headlight switch is in the Park position. Running lights would be on when ever the headlights are on. In either case you have either a broken wire causing an "open" in electrical terms, a bad switch or a bad ground. Since the lights should be grounded separately it is more likely an open or a bad switch. Shouldn't be too hard to find with a test light or volt meter.

Re: No Running Lights
So, I'm slow and a little confused. What do you consider the running lights?

Re: No Running Lights
Got it. I'm sticking with my earlier comments - check for continuity and voltage in the long runs to the rear.
