Rowdy, Here's a pic of my REO transmission. The sprocket on the left side of the pic is for the starter motor chain, which I have already removed. It does look similar to the one you posted.
After I get the clutch put back together, I have to tackle that sprocket. It keeps throwing the chain off. There is a lot of play and it wobbles when it spins, and I think that's the problem. So I hope there's a bearing in there that can be replaced. Thanks for all the help and advise guys! I appreciate all the input on this off-topic post. I didn't intend to keep this thread going since this is Model A forum, but you guys are a wealth of knowledge. Alan |
