Can anyone identify these horns?
I have had these 2 horns for years, but don't know what they belong on.
The tag inside is AUTOLITE ELECTRIC HC-4003, can anyone help, don't think they are Ford, possibly Lincoln, from pictures I have seen. AAA1PIC'S 021.jpg AAA1PIC'S 022.jpg |

Re: Can anyone identify these horns?
Being all chromed up like that, I'd figure they were for a high end automobile or maybe just aftermarket items to dress up the front end. Autolite is an old name (1911) and has been around a long time. They are part of the Fram Group now. Packard and Chrysler used many of there products back in the day among others.

pic's, these have the auto-lite label, also Spartan dome covers. Also look much like 1932 Oldsmobile Horns. The guy in AU says early 30's Chrysler, or after market as cas3 suggests. Thanks for all feed back. https://www.ebay.com/itm/PAIR-OF-TWI...19.m1438.l2649 Last edited by ReggieK; 01-20-2018 at 10:44 AM. Reason: spelling |
