I have an M-8 in my 291" 8BA ( 3 3/8 + .030). It's quite mild-Probably not much more than a stock EAC . Howards specs are: .328" gross lift; 230* duration @ .050"; Intake opens @ 5* BTC, closes 45* ABC; Exhaust opens 45* BBC' Closes 5* ATC.

The M-8 is a nice cam for a small engine. The M-12 is pretty wild. I like the Howard F9 very good street cam, nice Lope and great acceloration. Don't need allot of spring pressure for street.
