Can you post some pictures of the harness, the cloth covering, and the terminal ends?
How stiff does it feel? I'd warm it some in the sun before unrolling it. That might be a couple more months in Iowa.

There are several variations on harnesses. If you found a NOS harness that is correct for your car, you should go out right now and buy a lottery ticket, because luck is on your side.

Hope it is not a "Rick's" NOS harness...But then again...you might not know about "Rick's" stuff.

Please share your new find with the rest of us Steve...I wonder where it will fall in the "scheme" of things.

I would send a private message to Marco Tahtaras and ask him. He is one of the gurus of all "A" things NOS.

I might wrap it in a black trash bag, set it in the sun until it is thoroughly warm, and handle it gently, and slowly.
