Default 1932 Ford Deluxe 3W Coupe, Murray Body # informal registry, how many are still around?

The 1932 Ford Book by David Rehor shows the total 1932 Ford Deluxe 3W Coupe production at 23,411. All 3W Coupe bodies were manufactured by either Murray Corporation of America in Detroit, or Canadian Top & Body Corporation, Ltd, in Tilbury, Ontario.

Along with some other body types that were manufactured or assembled outside of Ford, the 3W Coupes had a tag riveted to the RH side of the front floor crossbrace of 3W coupe bodies.

I'm curious how many original 3W Coupes and the tag #'s can be accounted for and how they correspond with the month of production according to the frame number.

I'll start things off with mine. I have no idea if my car is on the original frame, but my frame # shows to be an October production car and the Murray Corporation body tag number is 7538.

Even if your body tag is missing or illegible, chime in if you have a '32 3W body that was manufactured by Ford. Let's see how many we can account for. Pictures would be a bonus!

Mine's 9424 and the engine number is from June, 1932 production. It has no late body characteristics.

While anything is possible, 7538 doesn't correlate very well with an engine production number from October. Does your body have any of the late body characteristics (sun visors, number of screws in the rear window garnish moulding, and number of attachments of the glove box to the front belt rail finish panel (dash)? Presumably not, given the body number.

Mine has the early rear window garnish and early glovebox to dash attachment. I don't have any sunvisors but the holes for them are angled, not clear on the difference there. Thanks!

Randy,

The early sun visor brackets are sort of dog-leg shaped (please see page 11-47 of the book) with the two attachment screw holes at an angle to the center line of the car; that would seem to be what you have. The late bracket holes (two per bracket) are parallel to the center line of the car. While the early visors and brackets are shown in the book, I did not include a photo of the late ones and I should have done so.

Yep, that's what mine is setup for, so I guess it doesn't have any late body characteristics either.

Great job on the book, by the way, thanks for all the work you did. Do you know what the difference between B520A and B520B on the tags?

I also posted this on the H.A.M.B. for anyone who wants to see the response there:

Dick: Wow, 267, that's low think we'll find #1! What month was your car produced?

DavidG: Any ideas on the B520A vs. B520B?

"matt": cool, thanks for posting it, I know your #5652 is a June car.

Randy,

Dick's car body was built in Canada by the Canadian Top & Body Corporation, so the number cannot be compared directly to those made in the U.S. by Murray. As you'll note in the '32 book on page A-8-2, there are two Canadian tags there that bookend Dick's number. Both tags are attached to surviving cars.

As for the difference between the A and B suffix, I haven't a clue, except to guess that it perhaps had something to do with the running changes that were made to these bodies relatively late in the production year (revised sun visors, etc.).

I guess it must be something other than early/late. This B520B 483 was posted by "Deuce Roadster" on the h.a.m.b. and we've had A's with number both higher and lower. I wouldn't think they would have had two manufacturing facilities, would they?

This one is B520A-7622. You can view a video of the car on youtube, search 'denson2003wcoupe'. Also my 1932 Ford Roadster has a number stamped directly into the front floor crossmember R1253....

Randy,

There's no reference to two different Murray plants making the bodies that I've encountered, but that's a reasonable possibility. Another possibility is that they started the numbers all over from zero when the prefix changed from B520A to B520-B.

Forgot to mention my 3 window body #B520A-7622 has early style sunvisors. Also trunk not rumble. Could trunk-lid bodies carry B520A and rumble-lid bodies carry B520B? Of course now many years later quite a few have been converted to rumble and even a few probally converted the other way....

Another good possibility. My B520A is an original trunk car and I know Andy's car is a B520A with original trunk although it has been converted to a rumble now.

We may have an answer, Deuce Roadster posted on the h.a.m.b. with the B520B tag says his 3W is an original rumbleseat car, whereas all the other examples that have chimed in with the B520A claim to have original trunk cars?

Any other examples to confirm this?

It'd be cool to use the power of the fordbarn and the h.a.m.b. to discover something that was previously lost to the ages!

What do you think DavidG?

Carl, Ron, Dick, do your cars jive with this or contradict it?

Randy

Randy,

I'm away from my 3-window for the winter and while I remember the number portion, I'm less sure of the prefix.

This is a reasonable theory and one that will not necessarily be contradicted by a 'A' prefix car having a rumble seat as some rumble seats were installed by dealers (the instructions to do so were in the '32 Service Bulletins).

3W Coupe body tag 520B 694 [ Canadian Top & Body, Tilbury Ontario] is a car here in New Zealand & was first rego'd new in March 1933. It has late features eg. visors & rear window moulding. A photo of its tag plate appears in ''32 Ford Book' by Dave Rehor.
Ian Staples in Taranaki, NZ has 520B 352 on his 3W V8. There were 17 3W '32 Coupes sold new in New Zealand [ height of Depression, very low new auto sales] &. about the same number still exist here due to some of them being restored back from old hot rods & a few steel bodies imported from US in recent years.
This information from Ian Staples, Ford V8 owner & enthusiast in Nth Island, NZ.

I consulted with a fellow hobbyist who has multiple '32 three-window coupes and has likely owned more of them over time than most of us put together. All four of those he has at present conform to the proposition that the B520A prefix denoted the trunk model and the B520B prefix denoted those with factory-installed rumble seats. Further, his recollection is that that pattern has been consistent on the other ones he has owned over the years.

While the sample size so far is statistically insignificant (the universe being over 23,000 of these coupes built worldwide), the pattern has been consistent and until someone comes up with a better theory, I buy into the A/trunk, B/rumble distinction for the last character of the body number prefix.

Dang, between here and the h.a.m.b., we've only accounted for 63 (counting the 17 in New Zealand)? Either some of you are holding out or these things are a lot rarer than I thought!

I have one, I believe it was KD car that went to Europe, was 4cyl too and has the rear frame reinforcement on the outside of the frame, English Hood, Semaphore Signals. Plus I know of about 12 others here in Britain.

Gary,

Nice car! I'm curious as to its engine number (to see if it was a Rouge, Walkerville, or Dagenham- built engine).

Thanks.

David, sadly the engine and transmission were not with the car, I couldn't find the number on the frame despite the fact it is perfect, no rust and no signs of it being removed, not the first time I have seen that though. I do have a document for it, the number is probably on there, will check.

Do you know if the interiors were shipped as part of the KD kit or were they sourced locally?

Gary,

While I've little documentation for it, I strongly suspect that the bodies were shipped with most, if not all of the interior upholstery, although not necessarily installed. Further, I believe that the bodies were shipped SKD (slightly knocked down) rather than KD or CKD (completely knocked down).

It will be interesting (at least to me) what sort of number your documents show. My best guess is that the prefix will be BF (or maybe ABF). My second best guess is that the prefix will be CBFG or CBFQ.

Thanks.

I finally located my 3W body tag. It is "BODY NUMBER B520A - 12660" it is a late/trunk version and the corresponding late SN is 18-2008XX. Also one more identifier regarding this car, back in the mid 60’s when I bought the car I found "EDGEWATER" stamped on the top pass side of the K member crossbeam. I grew up less than a mile from the Edgewater plant so it was startling to see this evidence of where the car was actually assembled. Sad to say I replaced the frame in the early 70's because of damage so I no longer have the actual physical evidence of this marking. I've looked at a lot of frames since, including one with "Made in Germany" (Italian Body) on the front cross member but I've never seen another one with the plant stamped on the K member or anywhere else.

Is it possible to post all the body numbers in sequential order?

Thanks, and sorry for the late reply.

Tom

I removed my body tag shortly after I bought mine in Iowa in 1970. It had black paint on it, and I didn't store it well, so it's nearly illegable now. I can still make out B520A-1636 and it's a decklid car. My serial # is 18-12XXX so it is early. I've been told that it was made in May 1932.

Hello: Mine was "bastard-ized" into a hotrod in the late fifties, on the east coast area. The floor was cut out and channelled over the chassis 7", which was "east coast fashion" in the late 50's, early 60's. All the tags are gone, and the frame was most likely not the original. However, the ID# I have is 158651. This could be a "state assigned" number of course. I was told, by a restoration friend, that it was originally a "B model" (4cylinder car), by the firewall holes configuration. Anyway, "She's my little deuce coupe", and that is what is important. I have a 3W, B-Model # 158-651. Anyone have a production date? Also, have question if the B-model 3-W's had a trunk or a rumble. Mine came with a trunk, but this was made into a hotrod in the mid 50's. Don't shoot me, I brought it back to a full fendered car, (all steel) now. Contact me at [email protected]. $85k Thank you, Coop

Gary has owned this 3W for a long, long time, bought it when the prices were in the hundreds. It's never been apart, rumble seat car, August serial # and the body tag is B520B-4988.

Randy,

This is a great idea. I have owned two '32 3 windows, actually the first was just the body with no other parts, not even the wood or door jamb tin. It was missing the doors and had a gutted deck lid. I believe it was a trunk car. I paid $150 in 1974 and sold it in 1975 for $350.00. It was a beautiful body with the floor intact , no rust and unchopped. I do not remember it having a body tag. My second '32 window I purchased in 1993 for $2,500 and it was an ex-race car. No floor, so no body tag either, gutted doors and no deck lid. My old boss from 1973 found it in the early '80s and he traded off for bodywork on another project to an old body man. As a matter of fact, I worked with this same body man when I was in high school in the mid '70s. I worked with him again at a different shop in the late '80s. That is when I learned the body man had the 3 window body sitting in his backyard and the recent history. Everyone in the shop tried to buy the body, but in 1993 I prevailed and brought it home. It has a trunk and it is now sitting on a Pete Eastwood chassis in my garage. If I can figure out how to post photos I will send some over in the next day or so. I have found a right door to repair mine. I still need an original left door inner panel to repair the other door. I could also use some original garnish moldings. These '32 Fords are very cool and we sure had a lot of them at Deuce Week at the Petersen Museum March 3rd.

Flathead Ted,

I was on the planning committee for 17 months. It was a great event. We could have used more '32 Fords and more people. Send me your email address and I will send some photos. [email protected]

My car is very likely Canadian built but every obvious sign is gone. There were no tags and the car had been channeled. I didn't think to check the frame numbers before I painted it. I haven't even been able to find out who owned mine before the owner before me had it. Is there anything on the body it's self. My car was not drilled out for the cowl lights.

One more to add... B520B-2095 --- Original rumble, once poorly converted to a trunk, now back to a rumble. The obvious thing, this plate has B520B crudely stamped, where others posted in this thread look like the four digit body type was screened like the rest of the plate and only the unique number was stamped. Thoughts?

Randy,

Given the relatively modest magnitude of the individual body numbers reported to date (with 12,660 being the highest) relative to the total body build, I am beginning to suspect that the two types (A-trunk and B-rumble) may have been numbered separately and not consecutively without regard to the type. In other words, perhaps two sets of numbers were used on the U.S.-built bodies which were additive in order to know the total number of bodies built.

Judging from BoxCar Tom's body and engine numbers, it would seem my theory about two separate sets of numbers has some merit. Further given the grand total, more A-suffix bodies were evidently built than B-suffix bodies.

Interesting theory and that makes since, since we don't have any numbers in the teens and twenties! I guess we'll know for sure if we get a duplicate number on A vs. B. That is curious about the # of trunk models vs. rumble. I guess Ford would have had some sales history to look back on illustrating the popularity of the rumble seat, maybe someone knows the percentage of Model A coupes that were sold with rumble seats?

Ford's '32 production records only distinguish between engine type (four or V-8) by model. There is no further breakdown of optional (at extra cost) equipment such as a rumble seat on a deluxe coupe (or standard coupe or standard roadster).

Interesting theory! At this rate of response I don't think we're in danger of getting a duplicate number on A vs. B, but it would be interesting to find out. I see what you mean, but they would know how many rumble cushions and other parts they made and sold, to help determine anticipated demand by 1932?

At the time, of course, but those sorts of data tend to get purged from the files after a couple of years, unlike the vehicle production statistics, which Ford took pains to save.

I know you're right, but I was more thinking along the lines of them using the production and sales data of the Model A's to predict how many B520B rumbleseat bodies to build.

I always thought the rumbleseat bodies were more common, but I know alot of people that restored their cars in the '60s, '70s, and '80s, converted many of them to rumbleseats, kind of a trend back then. From the data that has been contributed, the factory built rumbleseat bodies would appear to be fewer in number (as of what we've found for now). The factory rumbleseat body has the unique feature of no external rumble handle on the top or bottom of the lid, among the other '32 3Ws.

My 32 3 window was a chopped and lightened, dry lakes racer in the 1950's. I can't find any Murray tag on the subframe.

Here's my recent purchase but no tag.

As some may remember, I've been doing a similar survey on 1936 Ford 4 door convertible sedans; trying to find out just which body tag number was assigned to the first trunk model that year out of the total production of 5,601 cars. We've found 193 cars and 112 of them had body ID tags. From that info we know the first trunk model was likely produced somewhere between 2324 and 2497. 2334 is the highest slantback found and 2497 is the lowest trunk model found.

Merry Christmas!

Al
PS If you find any 36 conv sedans, send me an email.

I have an original Murry body. Unfortunately the floor had already been cut out so I have no numbers.

All I know it left the factory as a trunk lid model.

Mike, there's also a nice old original over here in Napa. The owner just joined the V-8 Club at my encouragement and will probably bring the car to Lake Tahoe in June. The car still has the original interior.

I have a Henry original 3w that I bought back in '82 for the outrageous sum of $1000. No body tag, as it was heavily channeled before my time.

I have a 1932 Ford Deluxe Coupe with the Murray tag B520-4054. Has the early hood and rear axle. Owned this car since 1953 and it is fully restored. Featured in Robert Genat's book, "Deuce: 75 Years of The 1932 Ford."

Well my tag is long gone but the serial number is 84488 if that means anything. I had a problem in locating this on the frame , untill you guys helped me to determine where to look . Now I have more information as to getting a valid title for my project car.

Another deluxe B520A, owned by my friend, is in Louisville, CO. The body # is 4438. The frame is 18-45318. It is a trunk car.

Hey Vic,

Thanks for contributing. Although the current list is documenting the Murray body tag #s we can confirm, I am going to go back through and add up all of the 3Ws that can be counted and will post that # here when I do.

Thanks, Randy

to throw in my 2 cents: I know I'm little off base. BUT I have a 33 phaeton that is body #62 with ID# 18-175000. (not exact # ) how is this possible? I have know about this car since around 1961-65. I have had it since 1975 , only two owners since then, and I know both of them. frame # is on all 3 places and is same on pink slip (California title) any answer or just more questions

It would sure make this thread more interesting if you could submit a picture of your 3W with your #. If you have trouble posting pics, e-mail them to me and I'll post them: [email protected]

Also if owners providing info on their '32 3WC could attest to 'Rumble lid' or 'Trunk lid' bodied coupe.....and let's reiterate that the "VIN number" stamped on the frame and/or upper belhousing(4 cylinder) or transmission(V-8) and "BODY number" stamped on the Murray Body Number tag are not the same, not to be confused, or not to be interchanged..... nor do they necessarily correlate....and finally a pix of Murray body tag or at least provide complete Murray body number including B520A or B520B designation....thanks in advance....

My 3 window is #B520B-5714. It's a rumble seat car with late sun visors. As far as I can tell it was manufactured in July of '32. A friend down the street has an original 3 window also but the body tag is missing.

It's been observed that since we have been shown several late production 3Ws and yet the highest body tag # we've found is 12660, that it's probably correct that the B520A and B520B body tag #s each began with 1. I guess we'll know for sure if we run across an A and a B with the same number.

I know this is a little off topic but I am looking for a 32 3 window coupe that is a drivable street rod. I want an original body. How much does it affect the value with or without the serial number tag? How much do fiberglass fenders affect the value? How much can I expect to pay? and anyone know of any for sale? complete or projects? Thanks Steve

There is a 1932 Ford 3Win Coupe currently on EBAY, item number: 281236283911. The listing description includes a Fudgy Serial Number (VIN) and numerous pictures, one of the pictures clearly shows Murray Body Number # B520A - 9948. Do you want to include this on the list?

With regard to the comments offered regarding the early '33 phaeton with what was likely a leftover '32 engine, the practice of the new model Job #1s occurring in the third or early fourth quarter of the previous job applies to Ford only after the '33 model year. Job #1 for the U.S. '32 models was March 10th, 1932 and last job in the U.S. was in February, 1933. No '33 model production occurred in the 1932 calendar year. Job #1 was in January, 1933 at the Rouge (even though the Kansas City Plant was still producing '32 models in that month).

The engine production log of the Rouge Plant states that the first '33 model engine was produced on November 14, 1932 with the number 207867. The first '33 engine equipped with aluminum cylinder heads was produced the same day (number 208788 with a 40 prefix, which was used for several days until the prefix reverted to 18). Number 207866 was not the last '32 engine built, however, as likely an additional number were produced that day with numbers between 207868 and 208787. The Rouge Engine plant produced no V-8 engines between November 15 and December 19, 1932.

As for a '32 V-8 engine with a number of approximately 175,000, it would be fair to describe it as fairly late, but certainly not very late.

So, according to Ford's engine production records, a '33 model with an engine number of approximately 175,000 could only represent a leftover '32 engine installed in a '33 chassis. (As for the possibility of the subject '33 being a prototype, all available evidence indicates that Ford was [and remains] ruthless in destroying its prototypes, preventing them from entering the public domain.

I have A-6858. I think it's a 6. Shown in the 60's at McMinnville, OR, and as found about 1996. It was called 'Instant Henry'.

I just scored a real deal henry ford 3 window. It was an old hot rod back in the 60's in the Sue City Iowa area. I check and there is no body tag in it, but the floor pan is in great condition.

My 32 did not have a body tag on it but the only number on the frame that I could find was 84488. It had been channeled and the firewall removed.

Two of 17 3W brought in to NZ the original one has been in the same family since 1937 and the hot rod has been a hot rod longer than it was original , sorry no numbers on these. lots of history right here. Both flathead and 3 speed with banjo axles.

BODY TAG NUMBER 260

Hi guys, Andy Anderson here from California. I just traded my all-steel '34 Ford roadster for a jewell I found in the northwest. I obtained a '32 3W from a 76 year old man. He tried to obtain the car when he was in his 20's. A hoarder had the car and 11 other 32's. He finally bought the car in 1986 (I believe). Every single part was there except it had Guide headlights. He took it home and restored it into a modern style street-rod. The car stills retains the original body tag. It is body tag number 260. The body was manufactured in Canada.

The Canadian bodies have their own numbering that is not based on assigned blocks of numbers from the US. It is therefore misleading to include #260 (from post #124) in sequence with what are otherwise all US body numbers.

DavidG, they are not all US body numbers as several of the tag #s have been reported as Canadian bodies. I'll try to identify the ones I know of. I know the title says Murray Body #, but since it's more importantly a list of numbered Deuce 3W bodies with original tags, and so as not to jeopardize international relations, I'll leave the Canadian Top & Body Corp. #s mixed in with the list.

Talking Re: 1932 Ford Deluxe 3W, Murray Body # informal registry, how many are still around?

True Barn Find! My Dad heard of a 32 3 window coupe, suicide doors, rumble seat, mohair interior in a barn in Southern WI in 1978. He talked the farmer, original owner into selling it. My father and my mother scrounged up all the money they could to purchase it as the second owners. It was my fathers pride and sat as a project car on our garage. Tragically my father was killed by a drunk driver in 1981. The 32 sat for four more years in our garage until my mom remarried in 1985. At that time we moved the 32 to MN where it has sat for the 34 years. It has been in storage as it was purchased in 1978 until July 4, 2019. It will now be brought to my garage in early August. I will get the number off the car in when it arrives. My sons and I can now take on my fathers pride!

Your father would be proud of you. I would shake your hand if I was there. We all here on the Ford Barn will help you what we can. When you get the 32 you must show us pictures and do take it to the National meet when you can. A good place to learn. Do get Dave Rehor Books on 32 Fords. This is a must do. God Bless and thanks.

So cool to see all these coupes and this registry. I have a really rough 32 3-window coupe i'm piecing together.

There one in Claysville, Pa. a 3 window that I know you don't have and one in Yniontown, pa. all apart and both of these fellows don't belong to Ford Barn. I know one in Clawsville is for sale. He asking 60,000 and here some pictures of it. I think it has a 37 engine in it.

That Unintown, Pa. sorry about that I should proof read to correct my mistakes. The one in Uniontown, Pa. is striped to bare metal and is perfect, no patch panels anywhere.

Good Lord, that's the way they were supposed to look in the late '50s and early '60s...heavy rake, wide white Atlas Bucrons on reversed Merc centers in Buick hoops, and is that an Olds Rocket? DD

Here's a little inspiration and similar to what i hope to build mine into someday. Right now it's just a pile of parts. When i got it, the floor had been cut out so no body tag. I recently got floor cross braces and pans from a guy who was street-rodding his car, but the cross-brace didn't have the tag on it. So far i have all original ford metal for my car and i am still looking for some pieces. I would love to have an original body tag for my car if anyone happens to have one. I am also still looking for the following parts:

-outer floor sub rails (will use brookville ones if i don't find original ones, i know original ones will be hard to find)
-passenger side door
-Passenger side door garnish
-rear window garnish
-Original seat slider rails (just need the upper ones that attach to the seat, i have the lower ones)
-original glove box door hinge.
-Original lower B-pillar bracket
-original upper B-pillar bracket

If anyone has any of these parts-just send me a pm-so we don't jam up this thread. thanks

Default '32 Body plate # question
Dave's '32 3 window coupe has a plate mounted just before the seat marked B520 A 7528. Could someone tell me the signifiance of the "A" in that plate? Are there any special follower's group of this particular year and body style (like the Woodies club)? Thanks, Don

default '32 body plate # question
dave's '32 3 window coupe has a plate mounted just before the seat marked b520 a 7528. Could someone tell me the signifiance of the "a" in that plate? Are there any special follower's group of this particular year and body style (like the woodies club)? Thanks, don

Hello. Could anyone put pictures of the differences between the models of early 1932 and late 1932? (Differences specific or not to 3wc) It's not clear for me. Thank you for your answer.

Gabalus,

That's a tall order as the differences are very extensive both to the bodies, chassis, and powertrain. 99.9% are cited along with photos in the Early Ford V8 Club's 610 page, two-volume "1932 Ford Book, A Production Chronicle and Restoration Guide" available on the Club's website (earlyfordv8.org). There are three addendums to the book on the Club's website as well, free of charge.

I notice the poster is from France; wouldn't it make a big difference whether he is working on a car of US or foreign manufacture? I would think that should be the first thing we should know.

Good point as the European sedan bodies are quite different from their North American counterparts as they were designed and manufactured in Europe. The remaining body types were imported from North America. Both are covered in the 'book'.

I've been interested in this thread but have never really read it. Our 3W has been in the family since circa 1961. The old picture is of my Aunt and Uncle shortly after they got the car. The new picture was taken today, 5/20/2022. I assume you mean the body tag is on the interior side of the floor so I went and looked. Two obstacles were does the seat need to be removed to access it and sometime in the mid '80's before he died my Uncle had the car gone completely through and painted and upholstered. The carpet was glued to the floor and without damaging things it's unknown if that body tag exists. Nonetheless this is in fact a Ford '32 3W. I don't have the frame # on hand at the moment but I could easily get it. I know many will gag at the rod it is but it's what we inherited and it's fun to drive and show.

Neat car and history with it, thanks for sharing. If you ever pull the carpet back and find that tag, please let me know. It's under the passenger side front edge of the seat, riveted to a metal crossbar.

I have owned my 3-window for 25 years, and just ran across the body tag, which I removed years ago. The car is still "in progress". The 520A 6350 is a trunk model. The chassis number is 18-113,XXX

Mine was hot rodded in the early 50s and the body tag is gone but I have the title with the

Sorry, but that number is neither a '32 deluxe coupe body number nor a '32 engine number, but rather with seven digits after the 18 prefix, it is a mid-1936 engine number. (Ford used engine numbers as serial numbers in that era.)

Probably the engine that was put in it when it was hotrodded in the early 50s.
Thanks for the info. The car is currently registered with this number.
It’s also the number on the title from 1964.

Are you keeping count of the ones that have no tag? I think you should? My 3 window has no tag.

Just FYI, my '33 3w deluxe production= 16,735 @ $540.; standard '33 production=6,884 @$490.

I have no body# tag. appears that there never was one on this car=no rivet holes in firewall. (I've looked everywhere on the car, which is original w/one repaint obviously many decades ago.

I've read that there were '33 bodies that were not tagged.

Thanks -

Congratulations for citing the correct worldwide production numbers, rather than the just the U.S. production figures. However, Ford did not go to the trouble to distinguish the '33 model data from the '34 model data and as a result the parting line in the data is December 31, 1933. Given that the introduction date of the '34 models was December 9. 1933, it is safe to conclude that at least some of the 16,735 deluxe 3-window coupes were '34 models.

I am going to check my 3 window tomorrow. I know the body tag is there. It also has the orig ash tray. Although it was rodded back in the 50s with a Y block in the Indianapolis area. it was later restored Stock but once again rodded in about 2000. I rebuilt it in 2002 as it wasn't right. .

I've never seen nor heard of a Murray Body Tag on any 1933s.

Hi Dave, You submitted your #260 back in 2019, I think. Is it a Canadian Top and Body Tag?
