Re: Zenith carb
Good luck .. you may find retapping it a difficult task; one I try to avoid if possible!
Here is a table form Steve Pargeter's excellent booklet "Zenith Model "A" Carburetor Restoration Guidelines. I would also do a search on this forum for further info Last edited by johnbuckley; 11-02-2020 at 12:02 PM. |

Re: Zenith carb
Possibly you can locate another rebuildable carb instead of investing in all those Metric taps, unless you already have them.

Re: Zenith carb
You could also try Renner's Corner for Parts and kits. David is a good guy. He carries parts for Tilly's and Marvels also along with instructions.

Re: Zenith carb
I seems some ham fisted @#$% tried to do who knows what with the carburettor. I'm sure there will be someone in your local Model A club who has a better core for you or even one ready to go if you cross his palm with silver. I have several sitting in my shed. Postage would be considerable, though.
