I set mine at .032" and have never had a problem. For standard stock engines 3x are a very good choice and they look great! Wayne

Just a recap Bouncing Betty loves the new 3x plugs. Much better idle and top end had her up to 55 mph for a short period, haven't driven those speeds for a long time! Thanks for the great advice

What plugs were you running before switching?
Stock engine? Or?

I was running motorcraft TT-10 for years had pretty good luck with them.I only problem I had they ran a little on sooty side with a good idle and high speed.I always wanted to try the 3x plugs so lets see how they run . I'll check them in in a few hundred miles

I have run 3X plugs since the beginning and at times tried all the other plugs that were suppose to be equivalent to the 3X. None of them ran as good as the 3X plugs, so for the last 30+ years, that's all I have run and they are still performing great.
