Default Top Saddle brackets (1928 Phaeton)

I've just installed the top saddle brackets with accompanying leather straps on my 1928 Phaeton. I'm fairly sure there's a very clever way of rolling up the straps when they aren't in use - does anyone have any pictures/description on how to do it? I've currently wrapped the straps round the saddle, which doesn't look particularly beautiful.

Thanks
Patrick

On our '26 Model T touring I coil the strap tightly so it rests in the saddle and secure it with a small zip tie.

On my 27 T Touring, I loop the strap around the top bow and fasten it

The loose ends o a rolled up strap, "might" be secured with a hidden swatch of VELCRO???

Thanks all - seems there is a variety of ways to do it. I'll do some experimentation

On my early '29 touring car, I have found that coiling these within the strap buckle works best for me. The number of coils should completely fill one side of the latch, and when wrapped around tightly within the buckle, should become virtually impervious to unraveling (even in the wind). This way keeps them relatively neat and does not call attention to loose ends.

This is the way that I store the top saddle straps.
