Probably better traffic control with a human making decisions rather than an electric timer.

Just think of all the gas we could save when there's virtually no traffic and you could keep on moving and not having to stop and then start again wasting fuel!!!

I don't know about that, NK. Seems to me that if you really want to screw up traffic at an intersection, have a cop out there directing traffic.
