Default Question about 1930 Tudor dovetails

Friend has a 1930 Tudor and he called and said the screws for the dovetail just fell out. Is there wood that the screws go in to or capture nuts?

It is inside on the door jamb. It has a raised center and helps guide the door into the proper place.

I believe it has a long screw that goes through the wood and is secured with a nut. There are two screws that do this.
