Let it be?
Look close; it's a 33/34 rear in the foreground and an upside down target practice 48 Chevy behind it. Its 500 feet into the woods through sticker bushes and another 250 feet of soggy river bed just to get to it. Have to cut the tree down (between the radius rod and the torque tube) to find out how long it's been there. RIP?

Re: Let it be?
Get the chain saw cut that tree down and drag that axel out. Who knows it could have a desireable gearset in it. 3.54:1 or 3.78:1. There might even be some good parts on the chebby.

Re: Let it be?
The gear set has to be a pile of rust with the open ended torque tube exposed like that. Probably full of water up to the ujoint.
