Question DOOR LOCK RETAINER with setscrew '40

Is there a replacement boss to keep the door locks secured? The round cylinder with a set key attached to the sheet metal inside the door. This keeps the lock in.

That is a piece that was spot welded to the inside of the door.Carpenter who took over the Drake repo 40 Ford coupe project might be able to help you out.If not try to find a scrap pass side door from '35-'40 and cut that piece out.

I haven't seen that part in any of my catalogs but someone should have one. I damn near ruined mine drilling out the set screw. Put a wanted in swap meet section.
