Default What to do while waiting for parts..

I'm at a point where I want to finish the front suspension and brakes before doing any engine or trans work. I'm waiting for some USA tie rod ends, grease seals, brake rivets, etc.

So while I'm waiting I decided my garage wall needed sprucing up a bit. It was half drywall and some random insulation. So I took down the crummy old drywall, insulated the wall with Roxul rock wool, and installed dark red brick paneling. It gives a nice backdrop to start hanging some Garage Art.

So far I have a clock, a 1936 Illinois license plate, and an antique medicine cabinet. Coming soon is a 1940's pin-up calender and an old Dr Pepper thermometer.

If you look at the reflection in the mirror you can see the cab of my 36 pickup on the opposite side of the garage.

When there's time to lean, there's time to clean. Have you checked out the Garage Journal?

I just happened on that site a few month's ago, it's been around a while. It's a great site with lot's of good shot's/post of garages/stuff from around the world.

Unlike this site, there are a few post's that are alittle off center and people post stuff that makes you shake your head and wonder "how does this person even make it through the day"
