Model A intake manifold
I have an aluminum aftermarket intake designed to fit an updraft carb with a larger base.
I am not familiar with other updrafts which would fit this manifold. The pictures show the perspective on the difference between the bolt centers. The up tube on the stock looks bigger than it actually is. Thought on carbs which might fit?

Re: Model A intake manifold
I was going to say tractor carburetor too. I have read reports that tractor carburetors work well on Model A's. Not sure how the choke setup would work.

8N carb is 2 5/16" center to center. Maybe it's for a Winfield carb. Picture from Vince's site. http://www.fordgarage.com/pages/winfieldcarb.htm Last edited by Bob C; 11-26-2020 at 01:28 PM. |
