Default Missing hand throtle part

On my 36 coupe which has a flathead with a Ford EAB carb there was a piece that connects the hand throttle rod to the carb...well it fell off on a ride the other day. The missing part appeared to be bronze or brass and was shaped like a little helmet and inside was a spring. This little helmet fit over a( T )shaped piece that the hand throttle rod is hooked to.
Anyone know what I am talking about ? If so, where can I get one and what is it called ?

Vintage Speed has nearly all the parts for the 94. Check out their web site. What ya doing with a EAB on a 36? How about a photo of your engine.

If what deuce posted is the part (my thoughts as well), you should contact CharlieNY as he probably has a box of them for his carb repairs.

And it bears repeating again. "Charlie NY" will serve you a LOT better than "Charlie Price" (Vi8ntage Speed).

Help me out deuce lover, does that end piece on the right also have holes in it to put a holder through, as well, to keep it from falling off the shaft? At least that is what's on my throttle at the carb on my 36. A cotter pin will suffice here.

The piece on the right is slotted inside the hole. You push it in against the spring/lever and then rotate it 90 degrees to lock it on the throttle shaft.

The above parts are for the 94 if you have a Stromberg they look like the pieces below which use a tapered pin to fit into a hole in the throttle shaft for attachment.
