Default Low cost Information about your car

At the swap meet last week, the weather was kind of dreary so it allowed extra time to peruse vendor spaces, I found this Thompson products binder and a wealth of information. For a number of years I have been pitching the importance of having service related books on hand when you attempt to do service on your old car and was surprised by the content of this book. Most of the time I have been suggesting Ford service bulletins or Motors Manuals pre 1955 for flathead information but this book also has very good information on old Ford service as well as other makes and models. It is one of those finds that is inexpensive and a wealth of information to make your task easier so when you are walking the swap meet its not just to find parts keep your eyes open for information books also.

I have been buying these for years when the price is right. Have you noticed that lately the price of old "Motor's Manuals" has gone way up!

Thompson Products, which became TRW, manufactured tie rod ends and many other suspension parts back in the day....they were very good quality as far as I can tell...Bob L

Nice.
I have a Motors Manual that was my Dads. All kinds of pages marked up with bookmarks, notes and inserted handwritten pages all in Pops handwriting. The 40 Owners Manual that's in the car is the same way.
