Default leaf spring add-a-leaf kit

I would like to raise the rear of my 53 ford. Give the old springs a little help. Does anyone know if this kit would work? It is the pro comp add-a-leaf kit from summit racing.

Before doing that I would bring them to a spring shop and get them re-arced. Or you can look up how to do that on the internet and try it yourself.

They don't seem to show any application to '53 Ford but,
if the width of the leaf in the kit is the same as your '53 Ford then there is not any reason it should not work.

I agree with Frank. Take them to a spring shop and get them re-arched.
