Re: feeler guage question
Hi John, there are plenty of on line converters. Google search "convert inches to mm" Just type in your desired gap in inches and the mm equivalent is displayed. Try this link.

Re: feeler guage question
There are 25.4mm per inch. Multiply inches by this constant to come up with any mm. .015 x 25.4 = .381MM. Conversely there are 0.039370078740157" per MM so for example 039370078740157" x .4MM = 0.015748031496063"

Re: feeler guage question
Thank you all for your prompt reply . I will set to 35 mm as that is the best I can do as some of the leafs are missing .

BTW, the standard pitch for an M3 screw is .5, so I have no idea why Honda used .6 on my 1964 Honda E40 portable generator. |

Re: feeler guage question
I ran into a similar problem when working on Yamaha DT-1 250 and RT-1 360 dirt bikes in early 70's and later, the XT-500 .
Japanese were using threads called "ISO" on only certain parts on the scooters. Why ISO threads on some parts? I never figured out any reason for it. |

They are very, very cheap so why not buy another and avoid the confusion! Wayne
