Default sealing windows

Finishing up my 38 ford coupe. What are people using to seal the window panes to the window rubber and then sealing the combo (glass and rubber seal) to the body on the qtr and back windows? As always appreciate all the great help I've received getting this project to completion. Pictures to follow. Tks Mike

The rubber seal should be all you need. If you insist on an additional sealer being used, be very careful with silicone products. Many will delaminate the glass. There are sealers made specifically for automotive glass available at a quality body shop supply store.

I've used Napa Auto Parts sealer, part #4121. Put masking tape around the window seal before using to help with clean up. Some seals will seal up fine without sealer, but others will not.

Thanks guys, I'll leave with just the rubber seals, if it leaks then I'll add sealant. Mike
