Default Horn not working

My horn on 30 A Tudor is not working, hasnt worked since I got the car a few years back. the horn works on the bench and if I apply ground while its mounted on the car. I replaced the horn button and checked for continuity at the end of the horn rod. All the lights work as they should, the spring is good on the horn connection and the connection is clean. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Ground bad. Light bar attachment would be my first cleaning connection. You already found the problem.

The original horn doesn't ground through the light bar. It grounds
through the blue and yellow wire from the horn button.

You got me curious so I did some googling and this is what I found on the horn button.

The tabs can work harden, and snap off. Marco mentioned heating the tabs to anneal them.
Probably screw up the plating. I have managed to break off tabs. Been a long while since I disassembled a horn rod. Fiddley business.

My daughter isn't working either. Says "not to panic" that she still has a few weeks left on her "covid" $728 a week unemployment.
Sorry, couldn't resist... Chap
