Default Cheap flathead

Looking for a good deal on a 40s flathead Ford engine? If you could travel back to 1969 they were selling them at Princess Auto for $199.50. Does not include water pumps, carb. or gen. These were rebuilt engines for Canadian army Bren gun carriers like my dad drove in WWII.

That’s highway robbery! I only paid $51.00 for this 36 LB engine a couple months ago. Unfortunately I didn’t get the 97 carb or generator with it . lol

Time travel is what we need, I remember standing in the Montgomery Wards store in Menands NY,(early 60's) and seeing dozens of rebuilt flathead's on display. There were bare blocks, blocks without heads and complete engines. Not sure what they were asking for them.

Considering the cost of a rebuild, there are some decent deals on the HAMB for rebuilt or block(s?) ready to be rebuilt ...
