Default School me on Fog Kings, lenses

So I'm wanting to run fog lights on my '36. I like the overall look of the old fog kings and it seems as though those were the ones to have back in the '30s. I'm finding both clear smooth lenses and sealed beam type lenses with the lines in em. Were they both offered or is one style older than the other? I'd appreciate any help fellas,
Thanks
-Andrew

sealed beams arrived in about 1940. The one's with the fluted lenses are way cool in my book.

Thanks! I feel the same. I found a guy on the HAMB making repop fluted amber lenses.
