Have been looking for a left hood hinge 38-39 ford pickup or knowledge of how to modifie any other hinges thanks tom finding it hard to find 518

I checked a couple of on line parts people. No listing for hinge. E-Bay has a couple listed. One guy has a pair that you can buy each at $40.00 or so. 37 car is similar. If you go to a flea market make sure that you take the one you have with you. 37 LOOKS the same if you're going by memory. Ask me how I know this. I bought NOS pair of 37 car ones thinking they were for the pickup and/or truck. What to pay? The aforementioned 37 wrong ones cost me $5.00 for the pair. Have seen the correct ones for $15.00 to the mentioned $40. Only fit the 38-39 truck all applications.

Cost is all over the place. Just be patient. They are out there.
