Default waterfall ID

I am aware of two styles of dash waterfall trim for the 35-36 Ford. Is there a specific application for each style? are they year specific or furnished by different Venders for Ford?

Attached are the two styles I know of.

Thanks

Tim

Left photo is a '35, right photo is the '36. Both are for closed cars with the crank out windshield. Cabriolets , roadsters and woodies do not have the upper hole

Roadsters, Phaetons and all standard models do not have a waterfall at all...either year.

Wasn't there a change in the later-'36 waterfall, consisting of just two parallel chrome strips ? I'n not close to my '35-'36 Ford Book, but I believe there's mention of that change.

Tagman is correct; there is a second 36 style comprising of two single stainless strips.

You are correct. I should not have mentioned roadsters in my post. 36 standards used two stainless strips on the dash with a chromed brass surround for the trim around the windshield regulator shaft.
