Default Vintage Precesion Customer Service

Has anyone else had difficulty reaching Vintage Precesion? After breaking my KD tools style hub puller on Wednesday I called Berts to try to order a KRW copy of the improved hub puller I found out they did not carry them. When I had internet access to get on Vintage Precesions website I was dissapointed there was no direct way to order them online. I tried to call the number on the website and there was no answer. It has been a busy week and had limitted time until last night to send an email. Is there a faster way get one of these ordered? Thanks Rod

I never had a problem calling them. They are on West Coast time.

It was about 4 pm their time Wednesday when I called. Was a busy week getting everything rounded up for the AV8 project with the buyer showing up Friday morning to buy it. The broken hub puller with no backup puller that I could find locally cost me $200+ on the sale price as some of the pieces that were supposed to go with it could not be seperated from the rearend they were attached to. Abit of a let down for the buyer and I but not a deal breaker. Going to need it very soon to finish salvaging things as I clean out all of the parts at the farm. Still in shock that there was no way to simply order with my debit card online and know I could expect it in 3-5 business days. While I like person to person contact in most cases this was one case that expediency would have been benifincial. Rod

I think they are a small business with the daughter answering the phone and taking the orders. Perhaps she's out of town or ill. Wait a little and try calling again.

I will try again tomorrow. Still suprised they do not have a way to order and pay online with as simple as it is to set something like that up these days. I realize it is a small business and in many ways I can feel their pain with the challenges of keeping overhead small. Rod

I received my new Improved KRW hub puller this morning. After I was able to contact them they were waiting on a piece from their supplier, then they discovered they were out of the stock for another part. Both issues were resolved quickly. The quality of the puller looks great and I will have the oportunity to use it Thursday and Friday. Have some work to do on my semi-modern daily ride today and some of tomorrow. Rod
