Default few and far in between

Hi All, As I'm sure most of you know , the neighborhood Machine shops are a thing of the past. As are machinist that know how to work on a ford flat head. I'm out here on the left coast south of Seattle about 60 miles and my machinist went and moved to Hawaii. Whats up with that? any way ,do any of you know of a good flat head re builder up this way? Thanks

Dave Tatum is is Mt. Vernon. He is over qualified to build any flathead ford. He is getting along in years like your's truly, but he would know where to turn for a rebuilder. I just had a Merc crank turned by Valley Machine, also in Mt Vernon, and they have an association with Tatum. Of course all of this is 60 miles N. of Seattle, so we are talking 120 miles.....
