Default Removing gas tank in 1931 mailtruck

The gas tank in my 1931 mailtruck is leaking, and must be removed to repair. Any helpful hints for the removal.

I've never seen one of those mail trucks but it can't be all that much different from my '30 CCPU. I've just had the tank out of that and refitted it. Not a big deal.

Just loosen and remove all the fasteners holding it and lift out.

I think you will have to unbolt the top of the cowl from the body and remove it to get to the bolts.

Thanks for the info, I was recently at Snyder's in New Springfield, OH getting some parts and toured their restoration shop/museum. In addition to a lot of Ts and As, as well as other cars they had two '31 mailtrucks, one was fully restored and the other was on the lift getting ready to be restored. Very interesting visit. I have a 31 that is very good condition and am always looking for others and know of the location of about a dozen or so.
