Default Correct headed bolts for the Model A

Its been my understanding that the only round headed bolts on the Model A engine were on the timing gear cover. Recently I happened to be changing an engine on a 1930 Tudor and was surprised to see all the flywheel housing cover bolts, & transmission mounting bolts were all rounded. It looked very nice & correct---- the rest of the car is pretty much original--------but is that the way Henry built them?? I need to buy a Judging manual that might cover items like this question......many thanks to whoever answers.
