Default personalized plate ideas

Hey Guys, I just bought a very nice 40 Ford Deluxe Tudor and we are try to come up with a personalized plate. I live in Florida and have gone through their DAV web site trying to find something that's not in use already here. I know there are a lot of people that have done this with a better imaginations then I have, so I'm open to all suggestions.

Personally, I don't think any personalized plate can hold a candle to an original plate for your state the same year as your car.

Here are 9 for sale: http://www.felix2.com/?ss=Florida&yy=1940&tt=

Here's one on the Barn: https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19101

4T2DR, 4TEE2DR, 2DR4T, 2D4TFD, FRDDX, FRDDLX
Forty 2Dr, Forty 2Dr, 2Dr forty, 2 Door Forty Ford, Ford Deluxe, Ford Deluxe

just a 5 minute brainstorm, not sure how many numbers letters your plates can use, I'm in CA.

1st row how plate would read, 2nd row what it stands for.

Here is another one, IDZRVIT. stands for "I deserve it". 0L4TFRD = Old 40 Ford 1st letter would be a zero. Henri's40, anyway you get the idea. If your married maybe something including the car and the mrs. they feel better about the whole car thing if they're included.

I second mrmoose's comment. Howard was great to deal with and very reasonable. My plate was NOS or close to it.

John, Did you lower the front end yet? Post a few photos when it's done. Plate ideas;
My 1940, 40FORD, FORDY, 19&40. 40rd, 4ord
My plate says 19 FORDY. Max numbers of letters or numerals in FL is 7.

I tend to lean towards year of manufacture (YOM) plates on the 1930-40 cars.
If you are really careful about what YOM plate you buy you can come up with some really neat number combinations, in lieu of just the run of the mill numbers.
I have a '39 conv with a CA YOM...
The CA '39 plates featured the 'Worlds Fair' which was held in S.F.. The state deviated from their normal yellow/black, black/yellow, to blue with yellow numbers.. This was the only time that CA used that color combo until 1973.
I found a number that really read well... California plates usually have seven figures, combo of letters/numbers... However, as the numbers increase. i.e. beyond single digit, CA reverted to six figures in '39.
Therefore, my '39 plate reads 12M xxx...
I have a '40 Buick so I looked for a YOM for it... After looking for several years I found a '40 CA plate.. 12M 000...
The problem I have found with personal plates is that they reputedly spell something out, however, the wording usually only means something to the person that dreamed the letter/number combo up.
The possibilities are endless, it just takes a lot of thought and planning.

This is what I have on the front of my two unrestored flatheads.
On the first one, the topper is modern, but I have many hours in refining and painting it.
On the second one, the topper is an original one, made of steel or iron.
