Default Tire Logo's

Can anyone show me a picture of a firestone logo painted on a tire. I seen pictures of Mitch's tires done by Jim on another thread and got jealous. Tried to post on that thread but it wouldnt let me for some reason.

Thanks,
Tom............

Tom i am not sure why you couldnt post on the other thread
here is an old thread that may help out your question and also maybe Jim can chime in here on the subject..
he mentioned that the red stripe around the tire does not get done ::

"Maybe" a Goodyear Tatoo is in order? "Maybe" I'll get a COKER tattoo!!
The Dog sez I'd look "manly" with a RAT Tatoo?? He's a Rat Terrier & the Coupe is named VERMIN.

Mitch,
Does the red stripe around the tire get done at all or in a different spot?

Tom,
jim said no stripe
the JS only mentions the red around the F on firestone and the flag on the goodyear.
he did both sides of the tire
you can also call him if you need to

I believe the red stripe was a centering line for locating the tire on the wheel properly and would not be seen once the tire was mounted to the wheel. Might be wrong but I believe that is what I heard.

Thanks Mitch and Tim for leading me in the right direction. After seeing Mitch's tires I ordered the correct paint and I am going to do the logo on my firestone tires. I don't have a car like Mitch has but I like to do some
things the correct way once and a while.

Believe the js says that the silver stripe on the goodyear was not visible once it was mounted but does mention the red stripe on firestone's being seen. The high point cars I've been around have it. Not sure how to produce it though. Guess a pin stripper.
