Running Board recovering
Has anybody seen or heard of running boards being coated with the substance used to coat pickup trucks bedliners? Would it work?

Depends on what type of results you wanted.

Re: Running Board recovering
that stuff is tough as rubber, but looks terrible , check out some truck beds, you then can see what kind of finish you will have, just plain black, no groves in it like the real rubber made for the running boards, altho if you willing to try you might be able to get the real running board finish if you have an old cover you can use to press the flook into the material before it dries, use light oil or diesel fuel as a release agent, but no matter what it wont look original

Re: Running Board recovering
I put the bedliner product that advance auto sells on my 50 f1 running boards, does not look bad, but if you get gas on it you need to wash it off quick or it gets soft.
