There were a lot of dealers of their parts, one might still have some inventory (if it wasn't all drop-shipped).

Somebody was doing free shipping on eBay but that ad is gone. I’ve been working a lots the last 2 months and missed the post in November.

Yogi's handled a lot of CE parts. I'm sure they have some inventory. If you need parts you can still buy from CE as they are selling off inventory. If you notice Speedway has copied the CE "bolt-in" Mustang crossmember.

I think Speedway has taken it over.

IMO: The CE bolt in crossmember is much nicer all around than the current Speedway part. CE's crossmember also completely surrounds the frame rails, Speedway's does not. I would think that would make it stronger than Speedway's.

Yogi's has CE inventory and I was able to order parts for my '35. They just arrived last week. I've been using CE's parts for quite awhile and really appreciate their quality and customer service. I freaked when I heard they'd closed their doors and immediately got online to track down the parts I'll need for my build next year.

I'm really surprised someone hasn't purchased such a viable business. I believe they were the last to offer a true, US-made forged axle. I hope someone takes them over -- but I kinda hope it's not Speedway.

Merry Christmas to me!
I found a Chassis engineering drop axle kit at Summit Racing.
I got the last one, buddy on the phone didn’t realize they had gone out of business.
It will be delivered today to my friends place in NH.
Maybe summit bought CE?

Just bringin' this back up. Back-order-Bob Drake's daily deal eMail arrived today advising his clearance on Chassis Engineering parts -- all at inflated prices. You can still get CE parts (at CE prices) from Yogi's.

A friend just ordered some CE springs from Yogi's. Yogi's apparently has a fair supply of CE parts/kits. If you are planning another project at some point it would probably be a good idea to order the parts now.
