Default 39 fuel tank fitting

Hi where can I get the compression fitting (nut / ferrel) that attaches steel line to tank?

Tried: Ace, auto zone, napa, and plumbing supply.

Try some of the V-8 Parts vendors. C and G, Sacramento Vintage Ford, Joe's Antique Auto, etc.

Hey Andy...I find it hard to believe you can't find that stuff at a decent parts house in New Joizy. The little kids behind the cash registers at Auto Zone ain't gonna have a clue about fittings. They only know about speakers and floor mats and mud flaps. I would think that any decent NAPA store with some OLD guy running the joint ought to have an "IMPERIAL Fittings" cabinet with all sorts of brass fittings, compression fittings and ferrules, among others. Click the link below to show the broad array of stuff that Imperial offers. When you get to their site, type-in "ferrule" for instance. My God, you ought to be able to find a ferrule almost anywhere besides McDonalds. Good luck...DD

I have found that "Ford Nuts" (unique male compression fittings) are not generally available, although regular ferules will work. The last time I changed a fuel pump, I had to use a regular pipe thread to flare fitting that took a female flare nut.

A good Napa store would look it up in the book and order it for you. I'm sure the warehouse would have them.I'm sure Michael Driskell at 3rd Gen Automotive would have them. He's on this site.

Sorry TLP is a company here in NJ. The owner is very good friend and huge early (39, 40 coupes deluxe and standard, 40 convertible, 48 pickup, etc, etc, etc) Ford collector. Mike and him are also friends.

Well,
I would, but they aren't exactly "new", as we have stocked them for years.. We sell the as two fittings and two ferrules for $4.95
