Default Brackets . . .

Hello Everyone . . .

Recently drove home a '30 Ford Model A and it came with a large metal trunk with no rack to set upon. Inside the trunk were a pair of brackets (pictured). Can't see where they would be used on this vehicle. Any ideas? Thanks in Advance.
