Default What temperature gauge do I need?

Hello folks
My french flatty is near the first start-up so its time to complete the missing bits. I would like to fit a temperature gauge with twin scales so that I can see both head temps at once. Should be a vintage (looking) instrument that will work with my 12 V, neg earth system. Alternatively I could use a single handed gauge and use a switch to check LH and RH cylinder banks. Any advice or does someone have something on offer?
Thanks
Harty

For start up I prefer the reliability of mechanical gauges, Oil & temp. If the car the flatty is in was originally 6V converted to 12V, it makes far easier until you sort out your engine and gauge power you could remove the mechanical ones. Tell us more about the vinagtge of the car the flatty is in.

I did your second iteration. It worked very well.
